The Gnarnia Splitboard is Weston’s go-to for riders chasing big objectives in variable conditions - designed to charge hard, float deep, and adapt to whatever the backcountry throws at you. A moderate taper (~9mm) and setback stance gives you effortless float on storm days, while maintaining stability and control on steep, firm descents.

Under the hood, it’s built with our Freedom Split Core - a lightweight combo of poplar and paulownia with bamboo stringers for durability, power, and uphill efficiency. Tip to Tail Carbon Stringers enhance skintrack response and provide torsional stiffness for confident downhill performance plus S-Weave Carbon woven into the core loads up that “send it to the moon” pop. The Rugged Topsheet resists chipping and scratching, while the Sintered Durasurf 4001 Base keeps things fast even when the snow gets sticky.

To dial it in for touring, we feature our SplitTech design with inside edges optimized for skinning traction and tail-shifted balance for easier kick turns and smoother touring, Stainless Steel Edges and Full-Perimeter UHMW Sidewalls for long-term durability. It’s also compatible with our Skinlock System for secure skin attachment and easy transitions.
